The Carroll Life

I am a freshman at Carroll University and so far I love it. Classes have been very interesting and the professors have been very helpful with getting use to the college life. The college life definatly have a lot of distractions such as computer games, new friends, and movie nights. Hanging out with new friends is so much fun. I enjoy being with everyone and it's so hard to walk away and do the important stuff like homework, studying, or blogging. Playing on the computer is a big distraction too. You just start searching on youtube for funny videos and next thing you know, you have been on youtube for two hours. Being here at Carroll has been a lot of fun and I am so happpy with my decision on coming here.

Nice first blog, Lisa! Work at improving your grammar and spelling because future employers will expect that.
You have a lot of potential and are struggling with the same temptations as many other students. part of college success comes from developing self-discipline (using You Tube time as a REWARD after you've done that homework) and self-confidence. i am confident that you can succeed here and Carroll is a better place by your being here.
